Brent Forbush began his accounting career working for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), the largest accounting firm in the world. He spent the first part of his PWC career as an auditor on the Dell, Inc. account. He trained in SEC reporting requirements for both small and large publicly held companies, and prepares and reviews tax returns and represents clients in front of the IRS.

In 2008, Brent returned to his native Reno to join Forbush and Associates as the manager overseeing auditing and accounting. Brent specializes in resolving financial issues facing small to medium-sized business ranging from $50,000 in revenue and one employee, to $50 million in revenue and fifty employees. He’s equally versed in all types of organizations ranging from non-profits to mining and manufacturing companies.

Brent’s unique in how he brings a management emphasis and large company view to accounting. This helps small and medium businesses increase and improve efficiencies in their operations. When you have requests, assessments, or seek solutions, you’ll likely speak with Brent first.

Brent Forbush has been happily married since 2003 to his lovely wife Suzanne. They have 3 children, Sydney, Owen, and Kira. Both Brent and Suzanne grew up in Reno and went to high school at Reed before leaving the Reno area to pursue education outside the state. Brent speaks Spanish fluently and lived in Venezuela for two years. He’s an avid golfer, college sports fanatic, and spends time exercising and playing basketball and football. Brent is a loyal BYU fan. When you don’t see him dressed for work, he’s likely wearing a BYU polo.

W. Chris Peden, CPA began his career in the tax and accounting field in 1988 and since then has provided a variety of services to a very diverse group of companies and economic sectors. Currently, Chris is the Vice President of R West Development in Pearland and the Executive Vice President of Linus Products, Inc. in Houston, Texas. In 1996, Chris started Peden & Associates, a traditional CPA firm in Friendswood, Texas. As the managing partner for Peden & Associates he had oversight responsibilities for over 750 tax returns of high net worth individuals and 200 small to mid-size corporation or entity returns. He was elected to a three-year term as council member of Friendswood, Texas in May 2005 and as Mayor Pro-Tem of Friendswood, Texas in June 2006. In 2000 he was elected President of the Board of Directors of Hope Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the mission of Hope Village and he served on the board until 2011. Chris is a Certified Public Accountant and a Member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accounts. He has a B.B.A. degree in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University.
