The IRS released final regulations clarifying many unanswered questions about the new qualified business income (QBI) deduction. Douglas Stives, CPA, MBA, is a full-time professor of accounting at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey, where he was honored as “outstanding business professor of the year” in 2009.
